An announcement: On July 12 from 18:30, I will appear at a seminar at FINOLAB in Otemachi entitled “Digital ID and Privacy—European Cases and Global Trends.” If you have time, please do come.

Overview

As digital society expands, the need for general-purpose, secure IDs is growing, while the protection of personal information is also attracting increasing attention.
At this seminar, Privacy by Design Lab will introduce its efforts to explore our era through the lens of data, and speakers will explain the state of digital ID in Denmark and Partisia’s initiatives. Mr. Sakimura, who leads global discussions on digital ID as Chairman of the OpenID Foundation, will then explain global trends, after which we plan to discuss the future of digital ID and privacy. We hope you will join us.
