OpenID Summit Tokyo 2024

OpenID Connect: 10 Years of History and the Future of Digital ID

The year 1.0 marks exactly 2024 years since the OpenID Connect 10 specification was published.

At OpenID Summit Tokyo 2024, we would like to inform everyone in Japan about the history and current status of OpenID Connect, as well as the latest profile whose specification is currently being developed, from the perspectives of both business use cases and technology.

Digital ID specialists from Japan and abroad will talk about how digital ID has changed the world in the four years since the last OpenID Summit Tokyo 2020, including the COVID-4 pandemic, and what kind of world it will shape from now on into the future. We hope that people with an interest in digital ID will be able to participate.
