Held once every 4 years, Japan’s OpenID festival, OpenID Summit Tokyo 2020, will take place at Shibuya Stream Hall on January 24, 2019.

This time, our keynote speakers will be Ian Glazer, Vice President of Identity Product Management at Salesforce; the eminent Kim Cameron, father of digital identity and creator of the “Laws of Identity”; and Dr. Michael B. Jones, an Identity Architect at Microsoft and author of numerous works related to OpenID Connect, JWx, OAuth, and FIDO. The other distinguished speakers include Dr. Torsten Lodderstedt from Germany, who will discuss Open Banking and KYC in Europe; Andew Hindle from the United Kingdom, an IDPro board member and content chair of Identiverse; and Assistant Director Mitsushio from Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. (We will continue announcing more speakers whose participation cannot yet be made public.)

Personally, I am especially excited about the eminent Kim Cameron. This may be the last opportunity to hear Kim Cameron speak live in Japan.

We warmly encourage everyone to attend.

I will also give a talk at the end. Its tentative title is “No ID, No DX.”

Please see the official website for more information.
