My first book as sole author, “Digital Identity,” was published by Nikkei BP on July 16. It is available from Amazon and other retailers. I hope you will pick up a copy.
Not only startups but also major corporations are investing heavily in cyberbusiness. The reality, however, is that incidents and accidents are increasing as more companies enter the field. Not long ago, online incidents and accidents occurred frequently, including fraudulent use involving a major convenience store’s mobile payment service and an incident involving a major mobile phone company and a bank.
Why do such incidents and accidents keep happening? There are, of course, technical issues. But the author wrote this book out of a desire to change the situation, believing that “incidents and accidents will continue unless executives possess the knowledge at the heart of cyberbusiness.”
In explaining the core of cyberbusiness, the book discusses the fundamental difference between GAFA and other internet companies. Many companies center their businesses on “applications” and “services,” whereas GAFA centers its businesses on “digital identity.” This “digital identity” is precisely why GAFA has been able to become a winner in cyberbusiness, and it is the core of cyberbusiness itself.
What is “digital identity”? What methods are available for managing it? How are security and peace of mind ensured? How does it relate to personal information and privacy? This book will help you understand these questions.
Management is impossible without understanding the essence of business. As business changes, so does the knowledge required for management. Today’s executives must treat the material in this book as common knowledge.
I would be delighted if you would pick up a copy.
