Sorry once again for the late announcement.

Next Wednesday, 5/29, I will deliver a keynote at the LINE×Intertrust Security Summit. It will be held at the Tokyo International Forum.

The theme of this year’s LINE×Intertrust Security Summit is “Safeguarding the New Era of Digital Identity and Digital Trust.” Since I have been given the opportunity to deliver a keynote, I thought I would take a somewhat broader perspective. The title of my talk is:

The Eighth Continent: The Discovery of the Cyber Continent and Digital Identity
The 8th Continent: The discovery of Cyber Continent and Digital Identity

That is what I have chosen.1

I will also participate in a panel discussion in the afternoon.

Panel Session #1 (14:25-15:00)
“New Era of Digital Identity”
Moderator: Naohisa Ichihara / LINE Corporation
Natsuhiko Sakimura / Open ID Foundation
Arnar Birgisson / Google
Ken Mori / Yahoo Japan Corporation
Koichi Moriyama / NTT DOCOMO

The keynote begins rather early, at 9:20 a.m., but I hope you will join us.

LINE’s news release is available here:

You can find it at the link above.

I look forward to seeing you at the venue.

Slides from the Event (added 2019/6/13)

I think my slides are rather difficult to follow without the speech, but since there have been requests, I am posting them below.

  1. It may be a bit too grandiose, and I am having some difficulty with the content.
