The Financial Grade API (FAPI) Security Profile Parts 1,2 and XNUMX, and the Authorization Response JWT Protected Mode (JARM) have entered Public Review before Implementer Draft Ballot.

The OpenID Financial Grade API Working Group has recommended the following specification draft for approval as an OpenID Implementer's Draft:

Implementer Drafts are stable versions of a specification that provide intellectual property protection to implementers of the specification. The OpenID FoundationThis announcementwill begin a 45-day public review of the draft specification in accordance with the OpenID Foundation's IPR policies and procedures. This review period will be followed by a 7-day voting period unless the Working Group identifies an issue that it believes should be addressed by revising the draft.1

The relevant dates are:

  • Public Review Dates for Implementers Draft: Friday, August 2018, 8 to October 31, 2018 (10 days)
  • Implementer's Draft Vote: Tuesday, October 2018, 10
  • Draft voting period for the organizers: Tuesday, October 2018, 10 to Tuesday, October 8, 2018*
