Well, it is over. The Christmas Concert, that is. It was scheduled to begin at 10, but when I went outside at about 9:40, there was a very long line wrapping all the way around the hall. Since it was Christmas morning, I had wondered whether even 100 people would come, but more than 400 showed up. I am grateful. Still, everything was in such a rush that we immediately turned people who had bought tickets into staff members and asked them to help. The hall was completely full—indeed, there was standing room only—so, regrettably, some people I knew had to go outside. I was very sorry about that. A serious lesson learned. Next time, I will take a more active role in running things. This time I was only doing the grunt work.

I was so rushed off my feet that I could not even listen to the performance, so there is no review:hammer:
