Today, there was a Christmas party at Kishibe Kindergarten. In its 101st year, Kishibe Kindergarten is Japan’s oldest private kindergarten and is located in Yoyogi-Uehara. Its hall hosted the customary music recital by the children.
Because I had preparations to make, I arrived at the venue shortly after 10 o’clock, but the concert began at 1 o’clock. There were piano, marimba, and koto performances. Afterwards, the event came to a close with a bingo tournament. After the cleanup, the teachers were discussing their concert at Izumi Hall on the 25th. Although it was only a little after 5 o’clock, it was already completely dark outside.
