Distributed computing contributes to anti-cancer research

A British project to pool spare processing power from computers scattered around the world to find molecules with cancer-fighting properties has recently completed a successful experiment.

I'm glad that people can contribute in this way, even if it's just a little at a time. It would be good if companies could donate their excess computing power. In the future, there may even be a market for excess computing power.
