I've included events that I personally think are important, based on my own personal opinion. - 2009-10: Nishitani. Sakimura: Contract Exchange draft published at IIW
- 2009-12: Personal Data Ecosystem: I'm not sure about this, but it was mentioned at the FTC's Privacy Roundtable on 2009-12-07 and is reprinted in the minutes. The moderator, Mr. MITHAL, used this term in his introduction to Richard M. - 2010-03: Work begins on OpenID Artefact Binding (later known as Connect).
- 2010-05: OAuth 2.0 draft response is now JSON-based. At the same time, OpenID AB response is also changed to JSON.
- 2012: Dr. Ann Cavoukian mentions PDE. Cavoukian, A: “Privacy by Design and the Emerging Personal Data Ecosystem” (2012) was the first. This is where Drummond Reed comes in.
- 2012-10: Standardization of OAuth FW, Bearer Token Usage (RFC6749, 6750) completed
- 2014-02: Standardization of OpenID Connect Core, Dynamic Registration, etc. completed
- 2015-05: Finalization of standardization for JWS, JWE, JWK, JWA, and JWT (RFC7515 – 7519)
- 2016-10: FAPI WG started
