ISO/IEC 29100:2024 Privacy frameworkAs the international editor (Project Leader) of the Privacy Framework, I received an International Standards Development Award. This standard serves as the foundation for all privacy-related standards within the ISO family. Unusually for an ISO standard, it is available for “zero Swiss francs (CHF 0),” meaning “free of charge”1. I hope everyone will take the opportunity to read it.

The previous edition was also published in Japanese as JIS X 9250. It can likewise be viewed online free of charge, so please make use of it. For instructions on how to access it, please see “How to View JIS Standards for Free”.
