Japan

• 2/26 The UK Digital Verification Service Bill completes debate in the House of Lords, bringing the Digital Trust and Attributes Framework one step closer to being realized.³

• 1/31 Telestra begins opening lines using bank identity. By using ConnectID, separate identity verification documents are no longer required.¹⁰

The United States of America

• Attention is beginning to be focused on AI agents acting on behalf of customers.
• In response to this, a new identity management concept is emerging called Customer and Agent Identity Management (CAIM).
