On January 18, 2024 at 11 p.m., I will be doing a YouTube stream titled “25 Years of OpenID”—something of a pre-party, or perhaps a study session, for the OpenID Summit the following day. It might even offer some clues on how to succeed.
At Friday’s OpenID Summit, there will be an event called “10 Years of OpenID Connect.” I will be taking part as well… But as it happens, this year is also, in a sense, the 25th anniversary of OpenID.
So this time, I would like to talk about the history of persistence that led to OpenID Connect and the lessons we can learn from it. As the saying goes: “Persistence is golden, and gold fuels persistence.”
Please invite others and join us.
