The “Mini Special Feature: Goodbye, Pointless Encrypted ZIP Email Attachments” in the July 2020 issue of Information Processing received a Special Commendation at the 37th (2021) Telecom Interdisciplinary Research Awards (https://www.taf.or.jp/award/). Although rather belatedly, we will hold an online talk event to commemorate it.
Professors Eto and Uehara, Ms. Kusunoki, Mr. Otaiji, and Sakimura will discuss how the mini special feature came about, stories from the editing process, and what has happened with PPAP since then.
We would also very much like to talk with everyone attending. Since the event is at this time of day, please prepare a drink or something similar and join us casually.
We would like to get a rough idea of attendance, so if you wish to participate, please mark yourself as “Going” on the event page.
- Date and time: October 27 (Friday), 19:00–21:00
- Venue: The Zoom meeting below (up to 100 participants)
