On September 28, I will give a keynote at the OIX-hosted IdentityTrust Conference 2023.
The title is “The Fallacy of Decentralisation.” If you are in London, please stop by. The session immediately after mine will feature Paul Scully, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. In the afternoon, I will also take part in a roundtable discussion titled “Wallets and Frameworks.”
About This Conference
Digital credentials, provided by trusted users through trusted smart wallets, can transform the way business is conducted, both online and in person.
Identity Trust 2023 brings together recipients1 of digital credentials and stakeholders from around the world who create and deliver services within the digital ID ecosystem.
This conference will explore why credentials from a user’s digital ID wallet can be accepted with trust and confidence. Is the user really who they claim to be? Are they eligible to access the service?
We will explore how digital ID is gaining traction in key use cases such as age verification, access to financial institutions, buying and selling homes, travel, and employment screening.
We will also take a closer look at how digital ID works across borders. Whether visiting another country or accessing a service remotely, a “smart wallet” must dynamically adapt to the requirements of each acceptor with whom the user wants to interact.
