Hello. I am Nat Sakimura, recently appointed as an advisor to the Fintech Association of Japan . Today, slightly earlier than my usual extremely late announcements—one day before the event—I would like to introduce an online event hosted by the Fintech Association entitled “Toward the Post-Coronavirus World.”

The event will be held on 2020/05/01 (Friday), 14:00 – 16:00 JST. The participants, with honorifics omitted, are:

  • Nat Sakimura
Advisor, Fintech Association of Japan / Chairman, OpenID Foundation
  • Hiroaki Miyata
Professor of Health Policy and Management, Keio University School of Medicine
  • Christina Yasuda

  • Takafumi Ochiai
Director, Fintech Association of Japan / Partner, Atsumi & Sakai Law Office and Foreign Law Joint Enterprise
  • Eriko Nonaka

First, the following 4 people will each give a presentation of approximately 10 to 15 minutes: Miyata on changes in the shape of society and the future of healthcare; Sakimura on world wars and shifts in hegemony; Yasuda on contact tracing; and Ishiyama on remote work and cloud-based systems. This will be followed by a discussion involving everyone.

Registration is available through Peatix. I am told that more than 300 people had registered as of Monday.

We warmly encourage you to participate.
