Happy New Year.

I usually write a post during the New Year holiday, but this year the break was short and I had various mundane errands to attend to, so today has ended up being my first post of the year. I look forward to your continued support this year.

Now, to the main subject. As the title says, there is apparently something called OWI Top 100 Leaders in Identity, and it seems I was selected for it.

The selections were reportedly based on scores calculated by considering the following factors during a 15-day nomination period:

  • Clout and influencer status within the industry
  • Number of publications and professional speaking engagements during 2016
  • Number of nominations
  • Years in the industry

No ranking has been published, but judging from the placement of the photos in the infographic above, I get the sense that I may be in the top 10. That said, I have absolutely no idea how authoritative it is.

This organization called OWI appears to be holding, from May 15 through the 17th, a conference called the K(NO)W IDENTITY CONFERENCE 1 in Washington, DC. I cannot attend because it completely overlaps with OECD/SPDE, but if anyone goes, I would appreciate hearing what kind of conference it was.
