At the ID Management Conference to be held on the upcoming October 9 (Friday), I will appear in the closing session (17:55-18:35).

The topic is:

“Digital Transformation of Business and Identity Management”

Using IT in business and transforming business through IT are fundamentally different. For example, replacing paper with PDFs is the former, while transforming operations around structured data and advancing automation is the latter. Whether this can be pursued beyond the boundaries of individual companies will substantially change the value that companies create. In this session, I will explore why identity management is key to this “digital transformation,” including from a historical perspective. The title is the same as the closing session at IT&ID, but there is more time here, so I also plan to discuss topics that I could not cover at IT&ID because of time constraints and PC trouble.
