When I first saw it, I naturally assumed it was CGI. I cannot believe he was really hitting the ball with a wooden sword…[1]. Well, perhaps the size of the racket does not matter much if you always strike the sweet spot….

Still, it is incredible. So cool.

Incidentally, instant noodles are actually an amazing Japanese invention. They already seem to have become a staple food in Southeast Asia. Turning them into Cup Noodles was another remarkable invention. Annual instant-noodle consumption over 1 year is an astonishing 95.4 billion servings[2]. Well done, Nissin Foods! It truly is a samurai that left Japan to venture into the world’s hostile territory.

I think everyone should learn more about the inventor, Momofuku Ando.
