I finally went to bed yesterday after half past 3, so I overslept until after 9. I was a little hungover. I had drunk quite a lot.

After getting up, I read Python Pocket Reference.
I found a typo. (p. 69)

For lunch, I ate cream stew and rice standing up in the kitchen.

Lying on the sofa, I listened to Rzewski’s “The People United Will Never Be Defeated!” for the first time while continuing with Python Pocket Reference. This work is apparently considered one of the greatest variation works of the 20th century, and it is quite electrifying. I fell asleep while being so absorbed in it, and when I realized it, it was after 5.

I have almost finished the Pocket Reference.

I had planned to open wine today, but dinner was changed to sashimi, so I had beer instead.

After dinner, I heard that Steve Jobs had received a liver transplant, so I looked into the Whipple procedure and prognosis a little. It made me realize that we have reached an era in which liver transplants are performed fairly routinely.

After that, I had fun recording with a Mackie DFX-6.

I am drinking Fujisan while listening to “The People United Will Never Be Defeated!” and writing this diary.
