When I arrived in Munich, my luggage did not come out.
Apparently, it had gone missing in Frankfurt. I was asked to write down the delivery address, so I asked Junko for the name of the hotel where we were going to stay. She said it was Landhotel… But that just means “country hotel”… orz
That was really discouraging and exhausting. In the end, I emailed Naoko and had her tell me the hotel’s name and address. A SoftBank mobile phone is wonderful…
Dragging my tired feet, I set off on a journey by local train. From the train, I contacted Lufthansa about the trunk’s delivery address. It seems they had found it in Frankfurt. The train was not very clean.
From Murnau, I took a bus to Oberammergau. The bus was more comfortable.
When I arrived in Oberammergau, it was completely dark. I asked for directions at a gas station and headed for the venue, pulling along a small trunk containing my instrument.
Everyone had gathered at the venue, so I first had some soup and beer, then went to the concert…
I slept like a log from exhaustion and do not remember what happened orz
The hotel was lovely: Landhotel Boeld. It seemed to be family-run.
And, amazingly, the lobby had wireless LAN!
