Yesterday, I started writing a blog program for Xoops. I spent about 5 hours and roughly completed the post-submission and display portions.
Today, I created the comment-submission form. I tried using CAPTCHA for the first time. Including the research, it took about an hour.
Tomorrow, I will finish handling submissions. That should take only about 30 minutes…
After that come ping and trackback, followed by image-file upload functionality.
Separately, I noticed people decorating their OpenPNE diaries and making them public outside PNE. That is another possible approach.
