I am actually supposed to work on Xoops + OpenID, but I have not.
The things I have to do always get put off until later :hammer:
Instead, I was doing things I probably did not need to do, like creating an events module.
It has been a long time since I made a Xoops module. It is still far from finished, but it seems to work, so I deployed it on marimba.org. While I was at it, I added RSS2.0 support to RSS. Actually, I did that first…
For the Event module, I still need to make an Upcoming Events block…
At night, I searched around on YouTube.
A video I had added to my favorites had been deleted.
If something is truly a favorite, you really have to download it in advance.
To play downloaded FLV files on a Mac, I recommend Perian.
It is a QuickTime plugin. Download it, then drag the Perian.components icon shown on the screen into the QuickTime folder on the same screen, and installation is complete. You can seek through the video, and it works comfortably. To download FLV files, SafariStand looks convenient. At present I download them from the configuration file with Option + double-click, but this seems easier. Incidentally, the SIMBL it uses looks like something worth investigating.
