Le Colonial Entrance
Walk a short way up Tayler St. to the north of Post St., turn into the narrow lane on the left, and beyond the courtyard at the back you will find Le Colonial, a Vietnamese-French restaurant.

The entrance patio looks like a pleasant place to enjoy a glass of wine on a summer evening. Beyond it is a stylish dining room.

The atmosphere is good, the food is good, and the wine is good too. Today I had the Skewers 2004 Pinot Noir ($88). It was spicy and paired perfectly with the lightly spiced Vietnamese-style French cuisine.

Recommended.
