It rained today.
I stayed at Michael’s house until 12, then moved to his Pacific Heights apartment. It is in a 24-story building, on its 23rd floor, and the living room is entirely glass. Downtown San Francisco is perfectly visible in front, Alcatraz is to the left, and the airport is to the right. There is probably nowhere else in San Francisco with a view this amazing.

After that, we stopped at Owen’s house once, dropped off my daughter, and went to Café Venezia. Today we had grilled lamb with oak-mint sauce and roasted artichoke. Delicious.
We headed home after 10, but the Bay Bridge was as congested as ever.
