Fishermen’s Grotto #9 is an upscale seafood restaurant founded in 1935. The last time I came, I was seated on floor 1, but today I had a spacious, relaxing seat on floor 2.

As always, the steamed Dungeness crab was exquisite. When ordering, they ask whether you want the head cleaned (meaning the crab butter washed away), so have them leave it in and enjoy it.

Today’s Dungeness crab was 23 dollars.

For families, there are also children’s meals, such as sautéed sole for 8 dollars.

It is a reasonably priced and delicious restaurant that I recommend.
