I spent all day writing a credit-card payment program using SBI Veritrans BuySmart Web. After all, the last time I touched it was 2 years ago. I had completely forgotten it, and the documentation had disappeared somewhere, so it was a tremendous struggle.
In the end, I could not keep carrying variables through the process, perhaps because of a library bug, so I used persistence backed by a db.
Veritrans has modules only for Perl, ASP, and Java. Java was only released recently, too. Since I am using it from within Xoops, I really want PHP, but it is not going very well. It looks possible to rewrite the Perl version in PHP, but it is simply too much trouble. Sigh, I am tired.
