On July 6, identity management software vendor Ping Identity released the first product to support SAML 2.0. The product will be the first standalone SAML 2.0 server, and existing users and users who signed contracts in the 2nd quarter can become beta testers for the SAML 2.0 Early Adopter Program.

SAML 2.0 implementations are finally beginning to appear. This is welcome news, for a start.
It would be nice if Xoops and similar platforms also came to support SAML 2.0.
