These were the words of Mr. Ishi of the Government Tax Commission. If he is going to say that, then before anything else, I want him to make much more of an issue out of the 9:6:4 problem. While saying that this will not necessarily lead immediately to a tax increase, his intention to take from wherever he can is all too obvious.
Before reforming the tax system, legislation should require that every tax increase be accompanied by spending cuts 2 times as large.
The government is in the midst of a complete moral hazard.
