Hearing of a death, I boil De Cecco; looking out the window, sunlight spills over the cherry tree next door.

I read on Mayumi’s blog that a close friend of hers had passed away. It seems to have been a completely unexpected, sudden death.

In this way, farewells can come suddenly at any time. Do today what can be done today. It reminded me how important it is to live each day with care.
