Monday was tough while recovering from illness.
There was a budget meeting from the morning. I slipped out for a lecture in Tameike-Sannō, then rushed back to the budget meeting when my part was over… In the end, it did not finish until half past 10. I was also shouting at the lecture without a microphone, so it was a hard day for someone recovering from illness.
The lecture was part of the EcC & BeB series at @Venture, and today’s event was called “New Year Ubiquitous Special Lecture: Leading AV & SI Companies Regaining Their Prestige.” I gave a talk there about information governance. The previous slot was given by someone from Matsushita who had been introducing products throughout, so I wondered whether my talk was a little out of place, but that could not be helped. My part started nearly 20 minutes late, so I rushed through it and ended up finishing 10 minutes earlier than planned, which was a little embarrassing. The lecture itself was well attended, with so many people that they could not all fit at the tables. The next lecture will be on February 3.
