I went to Bic Camera in Tachikawa and bought lucky bags. I bought a ¥2,000 software bag and a ¥10,000 MP3 bag. The first one I bought was the ¥2,000 software bag. It contained typing software, VideoStudio 7, and BurnDVD. Since I had planned to convert videos to DVD this year, it was just what I needed. At list price, it would come to nearly ¥20,000. Encouraged by this, I took a walk for a while and then bought the MP3 bag as well. This time, it contained a 256 MB SEAGrand X-Bar model. It was worth 10,000¥8,000. The store had a 10,000¥3,000 128 MB model, but when my wife saw it, she said, “I can’t recover:cry:.” Apparently, unless it is worth at least 2 times the price, she cannot accept it as a lucky bag.
Ah, lucky bags—how soon they turn sad, or something like that.
When we got home and tried to put in the batteries, it was so unusually tight that they would not go in. My wife, angry that it seemed defective, immediately called Bic Camera, but she was told that it was intentionally made tight because it was portable, so it was normal.
Well, despite all that, I actually think it may be quite convenient. I had been keeping an eye on something like this for a long time. I had been thinking of buying an iRiver, but this will do as well. I think it will be useful for recording my daughter’s koto lessons. I will report on its usability again sometime.
