Today I went to Kitchen Street, to “Edomae Tempura Rice Bowl Ginza Tempachi.” When I went in, my coworker Eric was also sitting at the counter eating. At the far end of the counter, I had the assorted tempura (¥1,280), oyster tempura (¥580), and ten-nuki chazuke (¥580). Tempura is eaten with salt or sauce. The sauce is an Edo-style sauce made with their carefully chosen dashi, and the salt is said to be from the Seto Inland Sea. (It was not particularly moist, though.) It was lightly fried and delicious. I personally prefer the type scented with sesame oil, but this was quite delicious too.

They only have small bottles of beer. For shochu, they offer good options such as Seiko Udoku, Tomi no Hozan, and Asahi.
