\"江戸葱かき揚げうどん/¥940\"I went to Suginoko, an “iridashi udon” restaurant in Kitchen Street, which opened inside the Yaesu exit area of Tokyo Station on October 28. It is the first udon specialty restaurant opened by Suginoko, a highly popular authentic creative Japanese restaurant in Omotesando. Its distinguishing feature is firm, chewy noodles made with locally milled flour, and it is also particular about its dashi stock. The photograph shows “Edo Scallion Kakiage Udon / ¥940.” I would have preferred the noodles to be a bit more springy, but the dashi was very flavorful and it was delicious. Recommended.
