Isn't the root cause of the pension problem the declining birth rate? If so, why not link pension amounts to the number of children?

Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare reform proposal to ensure pension benefits at 54.7% of current working income

I think that if Japan's pension system cannot escape the pay-as-you-go system, how about making the amount of pension vary depending on the number of children? The pay-as-you-go system would fail if the birth rate were to fall, as it is now in Japan.

in particular:

Basic amount + additional amount x number of children

Of course, it goes without saying that the base amount should be as small as possible and the additional amount should be as large as possible.

This will encourage people to have more children. Couples who cannot have children or who choose to remain single can adopt children.
I think this is a good thing because if people have more children, the pension problem will basically be solved.
