The service, launched on the 10th by Tampa, Florida-based LifeTouch Guarantees, allows users to store up to five messages on the company's servers until they die, and when the user dies, their friends, relatives or coworkers can send them to LifeTouch by submitting the necessary paperwork and a death certificate.

It's a little different, but it would be nice to have a service that would send emails for events like when family members turn a certain age or get married. Maybe I'll make one myself...
I just checked and this service is no longer available. This kind of service requires continuity, so it should be provided by a more stable company or organization, not a dot com.
