After 3 years of development, the Digital Identity Guidelines, to which I had the privilege of contributing as an expert (Expert Meeting on the Revision of the Identity Verification Guidelines: Issues, Cases, and Methods in Identity Verification Practice and Related Guidelines), have been published. They are available on the Digital Society Promotion Standard Guidelines page.

These standard guidelines set out the digital identity framework, control criteria, risk assessment procedures, methods for selecting identity verification approaches, and other matters for use when national government agencies verify applicants’ identities in administrative procedures and similar contexts.

Documents from the deliberations leading to these guidelines are also available together.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone at the Digital Agency and the secretariat who compiled these guidelines.
