- Overview
- The trend of embedding financial functions such as payments and insurance into non-financial IT platforms is accelerating. As a result, secure and efficient data exchange through APIs between financial institutions and third parties is becoming increasingly important. At the same time, some financial institutions continue to argue that the benefits do not outweigh the risks and costs. In this session, we will discuss the challenges and measures needed for the sustainable development of open banking/finance while presenting concrete examples from countries around the world.1
