- The trend of incorporating financial functions such as payments and insurance into non-financial IT platforms is accelerating. This is why secure and efficient data exchange between financial institutions and third parties through APIs is becoming increasingly important. However, some financial institutions continue to argue that the benefits do not outweigh the risks and costs. In this session, we will discuss the challenges and measures for the sustainable development of open banking/finance, introducing specific examples from around the world.1
