Taipei, February 6:The 2023 FIDO Taipei Seminar opened with a speech by Digital Minister Audrey Tang. It was an impressively comprehensive speech that radiated a real command of the subject. In fact, I will also be appearing on today’s closing panel.
Panel: Global Perspectives on Passwordless Authentication
- Moderator: Christina Hulka, Chief Operating Officer, FIDO Alliance
- Panelists:
- Koichi Moriyama, Chief Security Architect, Corporate Evangelist, and Head of Security Innovations Management, Corporate Strategy & Planning Department, NTT DOCOMO, INC.
- Nat Sakimura, Chairman, OpenID Foundation
- Vittorio Bertocci, Principal Architect at Okta
- Paul Grassi, Principal Security – Identity, Amazon
- Pamela Dingle, Director of Identity Standards, Microsoft
Tonight, together with Mr. Moriyama, a member of the FIDO Alliance Executive Council and a W3C Board member, I would like to look back on today’s event and read 800-63B, the identity authentication section most closely related to FIDO.
We will be streaming from the hotel and have less equipment than usual, so I do not know how smoothly it will go, but please do join us.
