New Context Conference 2017 (NCC 2017)1So, I ended up talking about blockchain, which is out of character for me. I gave my own presentation and was the moderator of the panel discussion.
Session 4 (16:10 – 17:30) The topic I received was
Session 4. What's next for blockchain?
The introduction of a distributed system like blockchain may lead to innovation from various parties, which may change our daily experience, just as it did with the Internet. In this session, we will explore the role and potential of blockchain in the evolution of daily experience. We will also discuss how the open innovation that DG Lab is working on will contribute to the evolution of daily experience.
The topic was quite difficult, and I struggled with it for a while, but the title of my presentation was
"Blockchain: The transformation brought about by democratization of the source of trust"
I'm glad that it was well received in some areas (mainly @okdt).
The content is as follows.
(The brick-based approach mentioned here is taken from Buchanan (1999[1962]).
The panelists in the following panel discussion were
panel discussion
George Lee (WeTrust.io)
Koichiro Edo(National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology)
Izumi Ohkoshi(Dentsu Inc.)
<Moderator> Natsuhiko Sakimura (Nomura Research Institute)
This is also difficult...
George is a social lender using blockchain, Edo is a media artist who is researching "construction and operation of services with user participation", and Ogoe is a co-creation business design. It was very difficult to summarize the story as one panel, and I had a hard time. Actually, there was a speaker's reception on Monday, and we had an opportunity to meet. At this point, I had hardly written a story myself, and we just had fun drinking (lol).

But then I stayed up all night thinking about it. And it seems that this was well received by some people (mainly @okdt), which is great.
By the way, the 26th was my birthday, and they sang "Happy Birthday" to me at the reception.2I was embarrassed.
After this, everyone went to the Andaz Tokyo lounge.Financial API Working GroupI returned to the office to chair the teleconference.

The opening line, "I write "democratization," but the Japanese word "democratization" has a different meaning from the English word "democratization" (which is why I used "social change")," gave me the usual "let's go!" feeling.
