So, here is a Christmas present for you all from the OpenID AB+Connect WG.
As of today, the OpenID Connect specifications have entered a 2-day implementer draft review period, which ends on February 6th. If all goes well, voting will begin the next day and the specifications will become implementer drafts on February 45th, which is Valentine's Day.
Through the OpenID Foundation specification process, a draft moves through the following stages:
Working Draft → Implementer's Draft → Final Specification
This is a key step towards this.
