And so, here is a Christmas present for everyone from the OpenID AB+Connect WG.
As of today, the OpenID Connect specifications have entered an Implementer’s Draft review period that runs through February 6, a total of 45 days. If all goes well, the voting period will begin the next day and last 1 weeks, and on February 14—yes, Valentine’s Day—they will officially become Implementer’s Drafts.
In the OpenID Foundation’s specification development process, drafts progress as follows:
Working Draft → Implementer’s Draft → Final Specification
This is an important step in that process.
