For example, when you want to extract an image embedded in Apple Pages as a file, dragging and dropping it onto the desktop does not work well. It becomes a clipping. So what should you do?
The easy way is to drag and drop it onto image-editing software, or copy and paste it there.
Recommended software includes:
😀 Seashore — a Cocoa version of GIMP. It does not require an X11 environment. Universal Binary. It has a standard interface, so you can use it without much confusion.
😀 ImageTricks — enables a wide range of effects using Apple’s Core Image Technology
