It worsened rapidly from about Thursday night, and I felt awful. I could not take time off. At one point, I joked that I looked like Detective Kojak; before long, I had lost my voice. I still have a terrible cough and can barely speak.
Apparently, 2 kinds of colds are going around now. One is this throat-and-cough cold. The other apparently causes high fevers and vomiting. We need to be careful. 🙁
