When I turned on the television a little while ago, there were nostalgic landscapes and nostalgic sounds… A symphony of many birds calling to one another. Ah, so nostalgic! “K-Kenya?” I thought, but a World Heritage program was showing Tanzania’s Selous National Park.
Lately, many things have been tiring, and my heart is worn out. At times like this, I really want to go home. Listening to the birdsong coming from the program, I felt once again that East Africa is the hometown of my heart. It is a shame I could not record it! Even the birdsong alone is soothing…
