According to an Asahi Shimbun survey, 71% of Japanese respondents said they were “not convinced” by China’s assertions. Asked to what extent history education within China had influenced the rise in anti-Japanese sentiment, more than 8 tenths said that it had had an influence.
State Councilor Tang said, “There is absolutely no anti-Japanese education in China. If you have opinions about Chinese textbooks or the like, you are welcome to put them forward.”
I am interested in the contents of Chinese textbooks. I would very much like to see translations in Japanese and English posted on some website.
