I found an interesting material. It's concrete that transmits light. You may wonder what concrete that transmits light is. But it's actually a material that has many optical fibers embedded in it, pointing in the direction you want the light to pass through. In principle, this means that light can pass through concrete that is about 20 meters thick. It's apparently just as strong as regular concrete. It's a material that looks like it could be used in a variety of fun ways.
