Tokage has made landfall in Shikoku. This is the 10th typhoon to make landfall in Japan this year, further extending the annual record for the most landfalls. The typhoon is expected to take a course across the length of the archipelago.
Meanwhile, “Nock-ten” (Typhoon 24) is waiting in the wings. It appears to be following exactly the same course, so it too may make landfall.
