A class action lawsuit against Facebook was set in motion after a Vienna court ruled that the company must address privacy complaints. In early August, a group of users led by privacy activist and lawyer Max Schrems filed suit against Facebook for allegedly violating several privacy laws.

According to a May 5 article in Forbes, Facebook plans to add a feature to its smartphone app that listens to the sounds around you. Initially, this feature will only be available in the United States, and if the user opts in, the app will listen to the sounds around you through the microphone when you are writing something and will not respond to them in any way.
