On November 11th local time, an implementing bill outlining the strict legal specifications required for an EU digital identity wallet was put out for public comment. Five implementing bills have already been published this summer and adopted by the European Commission, and the European Digital Identity Framework is expected to be the basis for the creation of a European digital identity wallet.
