Main Themes and Objectives

The central theme of this conference is "MyData in Practice," focusing on "how to make the concept of MyData work in the real world." While "MyData by Design" in 2024 discussed "the design necessary to realize MyData" from the multifaceted perspectives of BLTS (business, law, technology, and society), 2025 will "take that discussion one step further and focus on practical efforts regarding concrete implementation and operation," placing emphasis on more practical aspects.

The specific objectives include the following:

  • We will delve deeper into the possibilities and challenges of "MyData implementation" through ongoing examples in Japan.
  • We will present examples of MyData-related projects both in Japan and overseas.
  • "The social gathering will be open to the general public as an opportunity to promote mutual interaction among participants," and will provide a "space for dialogue that transcends diverse expertise and positions and expands the possibilities for future collaboration and co-creation."
  • In order to "establish the new trend of individual-centered data utilization in the real world," the initiative encourages the participation of a diverse range of stakeholders, including companies, government agencies, non-profit organizations, research institutions, educational institutions, and civil society.
